Does Your Plan For The Year Involve Pampering?
Jan 22nd, 2008 by beauty tips
We’re already well into the New Year and many resolutions are likely already out the window. However, one commitment you should make (and keep) for yourself is proper self-care and pampering.
At an absolute minimum, schedule a hair cut and shaping every 8 weeks - many of you will need to schedule more often, but about 2 months is the most you should ever go in between cuts. A great way to make sure you stay on schedule is to simply make an appointment for next time as soon as you leave the salon. This is also a great organizational tactic as well - put it on your calendar right away and don’t worry about it.
Depending upon your daily routine, you might encounter more than average amounts of stress. If this sounds like you, make some time to get a massage. The number and frequency of these you need will depend on your particular needs, budget and stress levels - but do make time to take care of yourself.
A good rule of thumb if you are following a budget is to plan for one treatment each month and set aside the funds to cover it. Maybe you’ll have a facial one month, a special hair treatment the next and so on. Do what you can and you’ll not only feel better but you’ll look fabulous!
