Researchers at Yale University discovered that the way you style your hair can affect the way in which people form a first impression about you.
Brunettes with long curly hair, for instance, often come across as being unpolished and not very intelligent.
The good news for short hair women is that they gave the impression of being sociable and sure of themselves but the bad news is that they were also thought to be less attractive.
And it’s no surprise that long blond straight hair got top awards for being the sexist of all hair styles.
To come across as being a creative person, all you needed to do was give yourself a medium length haircut with a somewhat casual style.
It should come as no surprise that our looks, and most importantly, our hair is one of the most common features that we use to base our first opinions on. And if you really do need to get people to take your seriously, maybe you should consider a shorter look. And for those long curly brunettes, maybe you want to consider investing in a top notch professional hair straightener to improve your image.
